I am Sanju. I live in Pushp Vihar.

Last year, I met with an accident close to my house while I was trying to cross the road. A scooter ripped me below my knee and as usual sped away leaving me alone on the road. Some bystanders saw me and managed to reach me home. I had by then lost a lot of blood and was in great pain.

One neighbour ran to the place where my father worked and by the time he reached my neighbours had taken me to Hospital. The doctors had to do a small operation as some tissues were torn. They needed to give me 2 bottles of blood before the surgery as I had lost a lot of blood. Lucky for me the doctor introduced the Rotary Blood Bank which was very close and who also give blood FREE for people like me who could not afford so much money.

I would like to thank my neighbours who took me to the hospital on time and the great person who donated the blood that was given to me, without which I would not be alive!

When I grow up I will become like that great person and save the lives of other children. I will take my friends with me and we will all donate blood.
