It has been a moving experience to visit this excellent facility & to meet such a committed team of persons involved in selfless service. I congratulate the whole team. May be, they will be motivated to replicate this facility in many other parts of the country.

God bless you all for the great difference you are making in the lives of others.

It is a real pleasure being associated with this great cause & in particular with ur organisation. I plan to convince more people to donate blood. Its a request to u guys that u must start a drive to create awareness about blood donation as people have great misconception about it, even I was initially discouraged to donate blood from different people but since I belong to a family which is headed by a doctor there fore I know that it is really safe to donate blood. Carry on the great work & think over my suggestion.

its always been a pleasure working with the rotary blood bank.. after organising series of camps, rotary blood bank & its wonderful staff seem like a family. As Mother Teresa said , "donation of blood is the highest gift to a dear one". Friends, I am sure that if we all join hands, we can surely accomplish the target, tat no one shall Die in Delhi for the want of Blood.

Excellent site which I some how missed. It provides all necessary information to motivate anyone to donate blood. Earlier at some of the road junctions one could see the signboard of Rotary Blood bank. which I find is missing at the moolchand crossing, chirag delhi crossing. May be an error, but it used to provide direction to such a vital setup like your state of the art Blood Bank. Keep up the good work. Ashok Bharti

I am extremely thankful to the Rotary Blood Bank for providing me about 40 units of plasma to treat my mother. Though we couldn't save her from the deadly paws of Hepatitis, but the selfless contribution of Rotary Blood bank in effort to save her can never be forgotten. I extend my thanks to all the staff at RBB and am planning to donate back all the 40 units plus more to RBB so that they can help more and more people and save more lives. Thanks again.

I have not yet received my Donor Card or my test reports even after TWO months. I had attended the donation camp held in Vasant Vihar on SEPT 21st. On contacting the Bank on OCT 21st I was told that the card and reports have been posted. But, I have not yet received the same even after a month. WHy this lapse on the Bank's part? It is no wonder why many people do not want to donate blood. The poor service you provide to the donors is one major influential factor. Please do the needful to improve your service.

To, Rotary Blood Bank 57,Tughlakabad Institutional Area New Delhi - 110 062 Subject: Regarding Blood Donation Camp org. in NSIT Dear Sirs, I would like to draw your attention towards the blood donation camp that was organised in NSIT, in April 2003. It was told to us that the Donors Card would be sent to us within 10 days by the doctor present there. 3 months have past but we haven't been sent that. This has impelled me to write to you. This has vehemently discouraged me to donate blood to Rotary Blood Bank in future. I strongly want to donate blood again but due to breach of faith, I am highly disappointed. I would urge you to take necessary steps in this direction. I expect to receive my Donors Card within 15 days. Yours faithfully JIVESH GOVIL Roll no: 41/EC/02 Address: Ist Floor A-63 Lok Vihar Pitampura Delhi - 110 034

You make me proud of Rotary spirit. It is a joy to see that this motivated spirit can do such marvelous things. The blood bank is wonderful but more pretty is the spirit of the service that has achieved it and is sustaining it!

This is an inspiring Oasis in an otherwise depressing atmosphere of public health. Care in India. The Rotary has grown two blades of glass where one grew for the better of mankind. Government must build enduring partnership with Rotary.

I am glad to know that the Rotary Clubs in Delhi have set up a state-of-the-art voluntary Blood Bank in Tughlakabad Institutional Area and its inauguration will take place on 1st March, 2002. I compliment you heartily on your bold resolve to ensure that "no one shall suffer in Delhi for want of blood". Please accept my greetings and good wishes for the success of the programme.

L K Advani, Union Home Minister

I am glad that the state of the art Blood Bank set up by Rotary Clubs of Delhi is being inaugurated on 01 March 2002 providing both blood and its many derivates for the people of Delhi. Nothing can be nobler than to provide blood to save human lives. I hope the strong motivation of the Rotarians will be matched by the citizens of Delhi in now coming forward to voluntarily donate their blood. It will ensure availability of blood free of infection, for it is buying and selling in blood that leads to contamination. I compliment the Rotarians of Delhi on their initiative and send my good wishes on this occasion.

Vijai Kapoor, Lt. Governor of NCT of Delhi
